 February 14 is known as St Valentine's Day. It is mainly observed by young people who on that day give presents to people they like and love. They also send Valentines - special greeting cards with poems, rhymes or declarations of love, and give the beloved flowers and sweets. 

Some people complain that this is a commercial holiday. Despite the negative opinions, the young seem to enjoy it very much. Its followers claim that it adds colour to everyday life.
